Chemistry in the Real World - Online Professional Development

This self-paced online professional development opportunity features two inquiry-based learning experiences that use familiar and easy to find materials, making these activities suitable for in-person or remote learning.

In this learning experience, educators will look at how inquiry-based lessons can be used as a tool for integrating content across multiple disciplines by working through two activities that engage students in real-world applications of solution concentration and gas laws. Relevant lesson plan materials are included. Time Required: ~ 3 hours (This allows for a period of reflection and testing out the 2 presented activities.)
