Michael Farabaugh has taught chemistry and AP Chemistry since 1998, and currently teaches at The Covenant School in Charlottesville, VA. He has been an AP Reader since 2011, and has served as a member of the AP Chemistry Test Development Committee (2020 - 2024). He is an AP Consultant with the College Board. He has served on the Governing Board for the American Association of Chemistry Teachers (AACT). He has been a presenter at the Biennial Conference for Chemical Education (BCCE) and at the ChemEd conference. In June AP Chemistry readers either traveled to Salt Lake City or worked online from home to read and score student responses from the 2022 exam. I attended the in-person Reading and served as a table leader for a group of at-home readers. I enjoyed the opportunity to do the following.
