Solid State Model Kit Manual
The Solid State Model Kit manual on this CD contains layer sequences for about 100 different structures. Please note that the index is an ideal place to find a particular structure. Entries in the index are linked to the pages of the manual. To view the Model Kit manual you must have installed and configured Adobe Acrobat Reader.
The Solid State Model Kit from the Institute for Chemical Education lets you build three dimensional models of many common and interesting crystal structures including sodium chloride, semiconductor solids, lubricants, superconductor solids, and memory metal. These models may be examined from many angles to show how atoms or ions are arranged in the crystal lattice.
