WWW Browser

ChemPages Laboratory was developed for use with Netscape Navigator 4.0+ and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0+. Other WWW browsers may work, but have not been tested and are not supported. ChemPages Laboratory requires that JavaScript, Style Sheets, and Plug-ins are supported and enabled within your browser, which is the default setting for all supported browsers. You only need to refer to the information below if ChemPages Laboratory does not seem to be working correctly on your system.

QuickTime Plug-in Required for Video

Apple QuickTime 4.0 or later is required to playback the video included in ChemPages Laboratory. The default installation of QuickTime 4 will install the QuickTime plug-in into your browser. The QuickTime 4 installer is included on this CD-ROM (see Installing QuickTime from CD). For more information about QuickTime and for updates, visit http://www.apple.com/quicktime/.

There is an audio track with some of the videos. Ensure that sound is enabled on your computer in order to get the most out of ChemPages Laboratory.

This variation can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the font size setting within your browser. Font sizes can be adjusted in the View menu of both Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
