JCE Software End User License Agreement

License. The software and documentation that accompany this License, on any media or in any form, are licensed to you by Journal of Chemical Education Software. You own the media on which the software is recorded, but JCE Software and/or its licensors retain title to the software. You are responsible for the installation, management, and use of this software and you must also use your best efforts to prevent its unauthorized use. This software and any copies of this software that this License allows you to make are subject to this License.

Permitted Uses and Restrictions. This License allows you to install and use the JCE Software as described below. The software and documentation are protected by United States Copyright and International Treaty provisions. You may not modify, rent, lease, loan, sublicense, distribute, or create derivative works based upon the software in whole or in part or transmit the software over a network. Your rights under this License terminate automatically without notice from JCE Software if you fail to comply with any term(s) of this License.

The number of allowed copies of the software that can be installed and operated is defined below by the type of license you have purchased. In addition to the copies defined below, one copy of the software in machine readable form can be made for backup purposes only. This backup copy must contain all copyright information contained on the original.

Single User License	One copy
Local Area Network License	One copy on a single server for use by a designated number of workstations
WWW/Wide Area Network License	One copy on a single server for use by a designated number of users per annum; access to the software must be limited to members of the class or institution through the use of user names and passwords, IP numbers, or other accepted methods

Disclaimer of Warranties. JCE Software provides the software "AS IS" and without any warranty of any kind. JCE Software disclaims all warranties with regard to the software, expressed or implied, including, without limitation, any implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement of third party rights. JCE Software does not warrant or make any representations regarding the use or the results of the use of JCE Software or related documentation in terms of their correctness, accuracy, reliability, omission, or otherwise. (Some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties so the above limitations may not apply to you.)

Limit of Liability.
