Narrative
Aqueous fructose is mixed with Benedict's reagent. The mixture is then heated. Fructose reacts with Benedict's reagent and is classified as a reducing sugar.
(Note that the portion of the video showing the heating stops short and does not show the red precipitate, which can be seen in the final still image.)
