@Chem_Coach I'm certainly guilty as charged in some cases, but I'm slowly getting better. Thanks for the ideas.

@Chem_Coach IB requires students to create their own data tables, so I can't really pre-format them, though. Cool idea for 'concept' labs.
-
@DaretoChem @Chem_Coach I can't wait to see what you come up with. For me...I'm choosing to keep paper until I'm at a school with tablets.
-
@DaretoChem @Chem_Coach Thanks. I've stuggled with that, as I really like the graphic organizers and can't seem to get rid of that paper.
-
@ThomsonScience wow! That is a meaningful consequence. Appreciate the insight

@DaretoChem @Chem_Coach How do students take notes? (I give graphic organizers...lots of calcs and drawings...) Do students have tablets?

@KristinGregory7 For grades 11 and 12, 2nd offense gets put into college application. It's taken pretty seriously, and I like it that way.
-
@KristinGregory7 Most definitely! My principal follows up when needed, and for DP students, the DP coordinator follows up as well.
-
@ThomsonScience Thx . is the honesty policy enforced and supported by admin?
-
@KristinGregory7 Our school has a very deliberate policy: Zero on the lab and academic honesty violation. #chemchat

@ThomsonScience We should make a zillion batches, leaving out 1 compound each, and see. #inquiry #chemchat
