This week marks the launch of a new science education podcast called, Science Modeling Talks. The podcast is hosted by Mark Royce and features informal conversations with some of the nation's leading experts in Modeling InstructionTM. The first four episodes drop this week and include the founder of MI, David Hestenes, along with Larry Dukerich, Colleen Megowan, and Brenda Royce.

The podcast provides some history on the Modeling pedagogy and access to resources, as well as entertaining anecdotes from award-winning educators. The podcast is free and available on a variety of platforms, you can check it out on the Science Modeling Talks website (figure 1). If you click on "Get In Touch" at the top of the website, you can subscribe and will be rewarded with a link to a resource page full of Modeling resources, articles, and social media contacts. Thanks for the blog post Erica. Podcasts are great to use to learn something during a long commute. I downloaded the first two episodes today and plan on listening on the way home from school.
