This structure shows the first two layers of the LiCl structure. In order to see the Cl ions added to the structure, press the button labeled "Show Third Layer".

Click
on a location where a lithium cation in the next layer would be located.
That is correct. A lithium ion
would fill the chosen position.
To see the location of all of
the lithium ions, click the
link labeled "fill" .
