Discussion

There is too much solution in the test tube to sufficiently mix the two components by tapping the test tube. You should use a glass rod if the test tube is filled to near capacity. If the tube is completely full a glass rod will cause it to overflow, so a larger container will be needed.

Narrative

Be careful not to overfill the test tube, for mixing will be difficult and spilling will be likely.
