Narrative
An actively oscillating Briggs-Rauscher reaction changes color from blue to amber to clear. Adding a liver extract containing catalase enzyme immediately halts the oscillations. Catalase decomposes the hydrogen peroxide in the reaction to water and oxygen. Foam is created by the released oxygen.
